That’s what Vice President Biden thinks of a business manager who comments that he wants taxes lowered. Of course they’re spinning it, now, that the VP was “just kidding” but it looked and sounded to everyone present that he was dead serious about it. The only reason he’s saying he was kidding is that he’s just as serious about damage control. Go have a read for the whole story but I found this part to be part of the continual illumination of this administration’s approach to matters:
Biden was in Wisconsin to hit the campaign trail with Democratic Senator Russ Feingold. Just days earlier, the vice president told a crowd of Feingold’s supporters gathered at a fundraising event that “there’s no possibility to restore the 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession.”
He then added that he and the current administration “inherited a god-awful mess.”
Emphasis mine. We’re nearly 2 years in to the Obama presidency, the debt has skyrocketed, the budget deficits have reached record levels multiplying the previous administration’s load by several fold, the “stimulus” plan pitched and enacted solely under this administration’s watch has failed epically and still they want everyone to believe it’s all Bush’s fault. It is long past time for Obama and Biden to be taking responsibility for what is happening while they are in office and we’re still getting this kind of crap from them both.
Elections have consequences, folks. In November we can do something about part of the problem and I recommend my fellow citizens keep their eyes on that ball over the next few months.
