BMRC: what do you think?
With the news that the Loudoun Planning Commission recommended the approval for the Broadlands Regional Medical Center (BRMC) to the Board of Supervisors, it’s come down to whether the BoS will finally, at long last, approve the facility to be built. If you’ve read this blog for any legth of time, you know my views on it.
With all of this in mind, it’s time to ask the HoodaThunk? readership. What do you think? And if I’m asking, that means it’s poll time!
(Poll removed from this post.)
This poll is also over there in the sidebar. Let me know what you think and we’ll see where this goes.
Update: Hmmm, apparently the WordPress polls can either be on the sidebar or in a blog post but not both. Oh, well, go look at the sidebar and you’ll find it.

Last week I was at Tuskies and who should walk in? Stevens Miller, his assistant Sean and Meagen Descutner. She is the PR representative from BRMC. They came in together right after the PC meeting. The three of them set down and had dinner. I could not believe it, really I could not. Miller should least care about the appearance of being appropriate and not partial. But nope, he came straight from the PC meeting with the BRMC rep. UNBELIEVABLE!
First Miller kills our schools, now he’s killing our hospital, most certainly he’ll kill any further thought about college campuses – why’s he even representing Dulles South? What’s he actually doing FOR the Rt. 50 corridor? He should split his district, and give up the South to someone who actually seeks better things for their constituents.
I had lunch with Stevens last week, too. What can you make of that??
Will you people get a grip and realise that Stevens can eat with whomever he pleases, WHENEVER he pleases, as long as he pays for his own meal?
Conspiracies abound with the whack-jobs, I swear.
And you’d better start warming to the idea of a hospital on that tract of land. Just giving you a heads up.
Meagen Descutner was also Yorks campaign manager awhile back.
Looks like HCA is influencing this decision with the BOS anyway they can. Apparently this will be a two hospital county for the rest of our lives if this passes. One with a helipad and the new one without unless they are the biggest liars on the planet once they get approval and come back a few years for approval. Maybe they secretly planned this from the beginning. The regional brmc is giving the broadlands all the proffers not the region.
LOudoun Lady perhaps you can give us an explanation why Cliff the broadlands HOA president and is knows Miller very well says you are lying. Below is Cliffs quote and here is the link http://www.brambletonian.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=11419&st=200&start=200
“”"”"”"”"”"”"”"Nice quote from the anonymous Loudoun Girl. Too bad it’s not true. Simply ask Mr. Miller, Ms. Descutner, or Mr. Daniels.
I also heard an Inova employee in Mr. Miller’s office a week ago. So what??????
Supervisor’s meet with applicants as well as opposing parties quite frequently. It’s just a shame some feel the need to lie about meetings to further their own agendas. I guess it dupes other people into believing it and spreading it.

For what it’s worth, Ms. Descutner DID NOT have dinner with Stevens Miller. She and his aide JUST HAPPENED TO HEAD OVER TO TUSKIE’s, AND DECIDED TO HOOF IT TOGETHER.
Whoever said Miller was actually there is an outright liar.
His aide stayed for one drink, and then he, too, departed.
What was left of the ensemble did not have a single Supervisor in the bunch.
