ICE is reporting they’ve conducted the largest immigrations raid in Iowa’s history, arresting 300 people on immigrations violations from a meatpacking plant in Cedar Rapids. Let’s see if ICE lets them all go in a week.
I’m a resident of northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. By profession, I’m a network engineer for a very, very large company in the IT field. I work with several federal agencies in my job. Politically, I lean conservative on most issues dealing with matters of law, finance, national security, and personal responsibility. I’m more moderate in the social arena but don’t confuse that with the so-called “liberal” stance. You’ll get the picture.
My interests include technology, aviation, sci-fi, martial arts, politics, and lots of other stuff. If you want to know something, ask. If you don’t want to hear an answer, don’t ask.
This is my blog, which means I write about what interests me. I do appreciate debate so long as it’s rational and pertinent. I don’t condone ad hominem attacks and I won’t allow them here in the comments, directed at me or otherwise.
