Voter ID law appeal before the Supreme Court today
Readers of the blog will already know that I’m a proponent of voter ID laws. We in Virginia have to show a valid picture ID when we show up at the polls and many other states require the same thing. The evidence is already in (and growing) that such laws do not keep people away from the polls. Today, the Indiana Voter ID law appeal is being heard before the US Supreme Court. John Fund over at Opinion Journal wonders how anyone can object to these laws and writes up a pretty good article on the matter. I recommend it highly.
