Student with tough questions for John Kerry physically subdued, tasered by campus police

Like Glenn Reynolds sometimes says, you know they said if Bush were re-elected that people would be arrested and assaulted for asking tough questions. Of course, I’m sure they never considered that it would be someone trying to ask John Kerry questions, hmmm?

The video on the linked story is apparently spreading across the internet (see the YouTube collection here) and shows the University of Florida student being physically subdued by several members of the campus police. They eventually wrestle him to the ground, threaten to taser him and then, over his pleas that they not do that, they taser him anyway.

Remind me, someone. When did this happen to the last person accusing a conservative speaker of all manner of vile things? How many members of Code Pink or the communist front group ANSWER have been tasered when they were truly disruptive of a speaking event? A university speaking event?

Yeah, me neither.
