Making my usual rounds I ran into this post at Captain’s Quarters. Who pointed me to this one at Michelle Malkin’s. Who mentioned this one at Confederate Yankee. (Many others in there but they all reference the same thing.) I found it hard to actually believe I what I was reading was the truth but it certainly appears that it is.
Former U of AZ professor of psychology (!) Deborah Frisch has engaged in a pattern of threatening commentary leveled against conservative blogger Jeff Goldstein at Protein Wisdom and against his 2-year old boy. I would direct you to Protein Wisdom immediately, but Jeff’s counter against this unhinged woman has led other folks who don’t want you to hear what Jeff has to say to launch a pair of DDoS attacks against his site. (Note to Jeff’s provider: tracking down the launch points of this kind of attack in an old specialty of mine. Do let me know if I can assist.) Fortunately, enough of the story has managed to get around that obstacle to let everyone know what this (*ahem*) “doctor” has done. Allow me to quote from Captain’s Quarters:

This is the commentary from someone allegedly sitting near the pinnacle of our academia. Her site shows some interesting developments. First, the flaming blogswarm she generated has resulted in eough pressure on her to cause her to resign. Were I a member of the Board at U of AZ, that wouldn’t be enough to get her off the hook by a longshot. Her actions have tarnished the reputation of the entire school and I’d be going after her to get recompense, big time. The “apology” offered is the stereotypical liberal “apology” of saying barely enough to qualify under the technical definition of the word and then launching into yet more diatribe about how their offensiveness is immaterial beside how they’re being victimized by being held in contempt.
Second, the commenters at her site were weighing in against her. Have a look at these:

Actually, in hindsight, you wrote a bunch of things that could reasonably be interpreted as physically threatening his child. That’s not just “nasty”; that’s against the law.
The fact you can’t figure this out, even with the benefit of hindsight, says a great deal about you. The fact you now wrap yourself in a cocoon of pretended victimhood says a great deal more.

So, in your post claiming victimhood, you said that you have contacted the FBI about the “threatening” comments you’ve received. I’m just wondering, did Jeff contact the FBI about your threats against his child?
Now you are blaming Protien Wisdom’s “troops” for your grief and want Jeff to call them off? This is so classic.
Hard to know if there’s any true liberals posting in all that, yes. The interesting part is that, after 55 such comments, old Doc decided she just couldn’t take it as well as she dished it out. She shut off the comments on the thread. Such bravery.
This woman needs to be made a parriah in her field. Anyone who hires this broad in the fields of psychology or education needs to have their head examined. The best she should be able to hope for is to legally change her name somewhere that the record isn’t kept on-line and get real comfy with the notion that she’s killed any chance she ever had to be relevant again.
I’m a resident of northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. By profession, I’m a network engineer for a very, very large company in the IT field. I work with several federal agencies in my job. Politically, I lean conservative on most issues dealing with matters of law, finance, national security, and personal responsibility.
